Critics :

“Weapon” dives deep into the narrative from the very beginning. Hitler developed super soldiers using a super serum, a concept that is introduced to us in this pre-Independence era story. Despite having the chance to obtain the serum, S Netaji Subash Chandra Bose and another freedom fighter rejected the idea because of the possible repercussions. The other freedom fighter took possession of the serum after he died and gave it to his son.
“Weapon may have its share of errors, but it’s undoubtedly not dull and a film with a strong sense of purpose.”Weapon, being one of the firsts, had the potential to roll out an extensive world built for the audience to experience,” wrote Anusha Sundar of OTT Play, awarding it 2.5 out of 5 stars. With a rating of two out of five stars, Janani K of India Today stated that “‘Weapon’ is a perfect example of the proverb ‘too my cooks spoil the broth’.” Despite having excellent technical qualities and creative visual effects, the director did not fully utilize the script’s potential.”
