Story Line:-
AGS Entertainment is the producer of the 2024 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film titled “The Greatest of All Time,” which is directed by Venkat Prabhu.
The former head of the Special Anti-Terrorism Squad (SATS) in Kenya, Rajiv Menon, is apprehended by Gandhi, Sunil, Kalyan, and Ajay. Menon was on the run on charges of treason. They believe everyone on board, including Menon, has dead, so they take the stolen uranium from Menon and demolish the train he was riding on. Relocating to Delhi, the group lives in disguise as staff members of the tourism organization India Tourism Development Corporation, keeping their true employment from their relatives. Gandhi resides with their five-year-old son Jeevan and his pregnant wife Anusuya “Anu”.
Gandhi is now employed at Chennai International Airport as an immigration officer after leaving the squad. Their daughter Jeevitha resides with Anu, but Anu and Jeevitha live apart. Gandhi’s previous supervisor, Nazeer, requests that he travel to Moscow to instruct new staff at the Indian Embassy, which has reopened. Gandhi reluctantly consents, but while he is there, a gang attacks the embassy. After fending them off, Gandhi is startled to realize that one of the attackers resembles a younger version of him. When Jeevan assists him in fending off the invaders, he recognizes Jeevan and verifies this. When they get back to Chennai, the family gets together, and Anu starts talking to Gandhi once more. But as Nazeer summons Gandhi for a pressing meeting, a guy in a mask attacks him.
After Jeevan murders Srinidhi, the daughter of Ajay and Sunil, it comes to light that Kalyan had been assisting Menon throughout, helping to abduct Jeevan and kill Srinidhi. Gandhi accidentally discovers Jeevan and takes him into custody while searching for Sha, Jeevan’s accomplice. Jeevan takes Sunil’s gun during an interrogation, appears to shoot him, and makes Gandhi carry him out, which lets Jeevan get away. After his survival is exposed, Sunil murders Kalyan. In order to kill spectators, Jeevan’s ultimate goal is to set off bombs at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium. Gandhi approaches Jeevan and kills him on top of the stadium after obtaining the bomb detonators with the aid of his brother-in-law Seenu and Jeevitha.In a mid-credits scene, it is revealed that the Jeevan killed by Gandhi was actually a clone, and the real Jeevan, now a scientist specializing in cloning, is still alive and begins creating more clones to continue his plans.
Critics:-
It’s true that Venkat Prabhu, with squirrels, has finally crafted the ideal commercial film for Tamil cinema. Despite having a pretty straightforward plot, the screenplay was well-written and entertaining enough for a commercial theater. For a very long time, the squirrels have been asking the directors who will work with Vijay to make a movie. Venkat Prabhu introduced Vijay from a different perspective and handled the film “70%,” and Vijay proved it with his performance. Films like Vincent Selva’s 1998 film “Priyamudan” can help the movie succeed! “Priyamudan” is a movie that only actual squirrel chicks are aware of. What makes an artist’s creation—whether it’s strictly “art” or “business”—the way that it is?
we associate the artwork with the epics that artist has created before? Some artists create their new work for a purpose, and the question is, what wins? Does it fit the purpose? In that way, Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music was appropriate when watching this commercial movie!. While the de-aging process is perfect at many points, it would have been better if they had worked on the VFX scenes (truthfully there is only so much that can be done for the budget and time given here) except for a few songs and some unnecessary intros. The film is like a road trip for the squirrels who only think of Vijay from top to bottom!
