It brought me back to my early years, when the popularity of whimsical horror films with a dash of mystery was at its height. The narrative tackled a number of contemporary issues, including “sati” and the sacrifice of female infants. The acting was spot-on, in my opinion. The scene and the way the plot developed were truly outstanding. My only criticism of the film is its climax. (Perhaps due to my intense passion for mystery novels). Although it was good on its own, after all that amazing build-up, perhaps a stronger or more unexpected climax would have been the icing on the cake.
All in all, a very clean film!
Critics : Soukarya Ghoshal narrates tales with a distinct regional flair. He takes us on a journey where his imagination runs wild. His films feature children who have the ability to completely overwhelm you. One such movie that passes for a horror movie is Bhootpori, which makes you fall in love with Makhon, the boy, and the ghost.
